Is it best to start on a Monday? If I run today will I need to do the other two runs tomorrow.?! Have want to get back in to running for so long and I think this app is the answer! Thanks

Hi, the idea of C25K is to run rest run rest run so if you run today your next run would be Monday - three runs in seven days with a minimum of 1 rest day between runs. Good luck in your journey

C25K works you up to running for 30 minutes three times a week over a progressive 9 week plan. You can start on any day of the week, and each week has 3 runs. Each run must be followed by a non-running day. Often participants schedule a weekly pattern RnRnRnn with two non-running days at the end of the week. This means that you always start the new week on the same weekday. You’ll find that we refer to the runs as W1r3 for week one, run three. If you started C25K today (Saturday) then you would run today, Monday and Wednesday with W2r1 next Saturday.

It is up to you and your diary when to start and what days to run. Ideally you will run the same days each week but if your commitments vary, you can flex it a bit.
