I was doing great, graduated, kept going and started to do all the stretches, two weeks of working with the podcasts on speed and then stamina I think. Strangely I’m not a fast runner but found the first NHS ‘speed’ podcast a bit too slow! 😳🏃🏻♀️
Anyway, my target was to build up either speed or stamina so I could actually run 5K. I felt so empowered by being able to run any distance for the first time in my life. Then...head cold returned and staying at friends, I woke up to a twingey back. Getting better but I have had to stop running this week. I miss it soooo much. Being careful and can walk more briskly again.
Can’t wait to be able to run again and hopefully build up to that 5k 😄🏃🏻♀️

You are still a fairly new graduate.. and the C25K+ podcasts are a lot more challenging than folk think.. about discipline in running and not just running... which us why, consolidation of the 30 minute runs is recommended.. for a couple of weeks...
Slow down a tad,, try some different routes, and distances... and the 30 minute runs too, then take a look at the post, what is next, of IannodaTruffe 's some great ideas there.
Always good tips Oldfloss though my back problem is not connected with the running. I hope to start again soon and yes good to remember to consolidate as well as pushing forward a bit.
