Today’s workout was called Opening Time... so I was all prepared to sit outside the pub waiting for it to open. I hit start, anticipating a brisk walk to the pub, wall sit and then some repeated lifting of 1 pound weights... the ones that get lighter as you got. Imagine my disappointment when instead I have to do some flexibility work!

Opening time to your fitness running UNM, not the pub, anyway tomorrow morning you will be at your junior parkrun as a marshall cheering on Miss UNM with her run. 🏃 😊
It's not cricket being 'thats not on' an old upper class colloquialism, used by top hatted toffs everywhere decades ago. Although the only top hat I'd wear would have to have flight goggles above he rim and be distinctly steam-punk in style.
I remember the bbc truth about episode on getting fit had one exercise where you raise a hand weight and repeat until you can’t do it anymore... the people who did it preferred heavier weights... there was no difference between heavy or light weights when it came to fitness... but the weights in the pub would hurt less as you’re approaching exhaustion, so I think there could be a market for such weights... I’ve noticed that Tesco sell them 😂
