I think it might actually all be clicking into place! First 28 min run and i felt great. I seem to be hitting my stride at around 8 mins into a run. Tonight i must have paced myself better as i didnt seem to struggle with my breathing at all and there wasn't even any points where I was desperate for Michael to tell me to stop! After sitting on various motorways for 7 hours coming home from a holiday on the south coast, I nearly didn't go out but so glad I did. 2 weeks to go...bring it on! πŸ’ͺπŸ‘πŸƒβ€β™€οΈπŸƒβ€β™€οΈπŸƒβ€β™€οΈ

Thanks!! Glad you posted this. My next run is week 8 run 1. Week 7 runs 1 & 2 went well, run 3 was okay, definitely not as good.

I am glad your run was good, it's giving me a boost to think that my next run might be good like yours.

Enjoy your hols, good luck with the next run and I'll see you on the graduation podium!

Hope your run goes/went well. I was just so shocked to be honest that I had to share! I do find this forum has helped me carry on seeing other people going through the same feelings. Will see you on the podium! Totally mad even thinking I am that close now πŸ‘πŸ‘

Well done you! I find my best runs are when I least feel like it. I just did the w5r3 this morning, again not really in the mood for it, and it was the best run I’ve had so far. I bet you’re so glad that you made the effort πŸ˜„πŸ˜„

I think you might be right...I guess there's no expectations when you feel like that. Well done on finishing week 5...the 20 min run seems to be a bit of a milestone πŸ˜€

I am doing W8R1 tomorrow. My W7R3 was marginally better than the two before. Hoping mine goes as well as yours.

You'll be fine. The extra 3 mins isn't a lot in the grand scheme of things. It's just telling yourself that you can do this πŸ™‚
