Seeking motivation pals to laugh and cry together!

I well and truly hit the 30's dip!! Mid 30's, very unfit and obese. Struggle to eat well on a continuous basis, but I have large periods when I do eat well. I benefit from having a buddy or community to engage with to hit fitness and health goals. Would like to build friendships with people of all abilities, however I'm particularly looking for someone with similar fitness levels and goals. Main goal is to lose 15kg and to make exercise an enjoyable part of my routine again. Other areas that interest me are the Wim Hof Method, juice fasts or feasts, laughing and most importantly.... dancing to trance!

Loads of folk on here., all with targets similar to yours... You can team up with them and share your posts too... on the C25K plan.. please do check out the post for Newbies... loads of advice there...

This, unlike a social media site, is strictly for following the C25K plan... also not a weight loss programme,, you may or may not lose weight...maybe take a peek at our sister site..Weight Loss NHS... many folk on here are on there too:)

Welcome to this great running forum... we will all be here to keep you motivated with great support and encouragement:)

Hey Maid Marion, I’m on week 6 and struggling to complete (attempt no 2 this morning at 6.2). I have been drinking nutriblasts and slimfast shakes for 9 months (as well as eating real food) and my weight loss has stopped despite increasing exercise. BUT there are always amazing people in this forum who will regularly give you perspective and keep you grounded. Everybody is in the same boat with entirely different circumstances and they all just keep on keeping on :)

Transformation is a slow process but wholly achievable if you maintain the perspective of looking at the big picture (you might fall of the wagon or have to repeat a week but long term you’re still making progress). Best of luck on your journey... now enough procrastination, I really need to get on that treadmill eeek!
