Monday was wk8r1. Sunny but gusty n now 28mins run. Normally the first 10mins hard then get into my rhythm but not this time. When Laura said halfway I was so tired. I did keep going for 28mins but don’t know how as my legs were like jelly. Had I hit my limit. 😧
Wednesday I was delayed from normal morning run as heavy run but 2pm it stopped so out I went a little worried how it would go. So happy to report I was back to normal! Not easy especially as it rained n got quite windy again but legs held out. Monday was just my first experience of a bad run. Don’t know why but so glad I tried again.👍🏼

Excellent work, Jogalot - it definitely pays to persevere ⭐️ If you can identify anything different about Monday’s run, that’ll help you in the future.
Are you hydrating enough on rest days as well as run days? That can be a factor in the jelly legs. Only time I had to abandon a run was not having had my usual liquid intake. And you experienced the toxic 10! That’s your body warming up to get the oxygen round more effectively. And if you’re struggling as the durations increase- there’s always slowing down!
I attempted W8R2 today, but had to give up after about 20 mins running cos the wind was so strong along the seafront I could barely walk into it let alone run!! Feeling disappointed with myself cos it’s the first time I haven’t finished a run. Will try again tomorrow when there’s less wind.
