Wk8r1 done ✅ woooohoooo

I’ve just been out and I really enjoyed it. I changed my route (first 2k was a bit uphill so took it very easy- maybe a bit too easy

I loved the 2nd half and felt like I could have kept going for another 2 mins didn’t even feel out of breath and no pains at all but I stopped myself and kept to the plan.

I’m a little annoyed at myself for going so slowly for the first 1/2 but now I know I can now run for 28mins and I know I can push and go a bit faster

Im super proud of myself for reaching 28mins 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽

Monday always seems to be my best “feeling” run- think that’s because my legs & body have had 2 days rest. Does anyone else feel the same??

If you are running today - you got this 🏃🏽‍♀️🏃🏽‍♀️🏃🏽‍♀️🏃🏽‍♀️

Congrats on not only finishing, but also enjoying what sounds to be an awesome run!! I definitely feel you with the whole ‘Monday feeling’ - I think for me it’s because there’s no other runs to compare it to so it sets a bit of a stress free baseline. Good luck for the rest of the week, you’ve got this! 💪🏼

Thank you - I didn’t even think about that aspect. You could be right.

I’m looking forward to Wednesdays run and hopefully I will enjoy it as much 🙏

What run are you on??

I’d never really thought much about it before but now it definitely makes sense haha!

I’ve just done W9 R1 so only a few runs ahead of where you are now!☺️

Totally does 👌🏻

Wow 30mins of running well done. How was it!?

It was great! The step up from Week 8 is so small that you barely even notice the extra 2 minutes 👍🏼☺️

I thought that it’s only 1 min on each 1/2 of the run 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻 well done though. You have nearly completed the plan 🏃🏽‍♀️🏃🏽‍♀️🏃🏽‍♀️🏃🏽‍♀️

Well done! i can just feel the excitement through your words!.. and why not... its a brilliant achievement!....

Your Monday is my Sunday - i like to try and do the Sunday - it feels like i am getting a head start on myself... (If you know what i mean)

I'm sticking to flat at the moment.. but i do need to start building in hills or i won't feel I've done it!...so well done to you for building in some hills!

Thank you so much. I was very excited and still feel so good after it.

I always like to give myself 2 days rest at the weekend so my legs always feel a bit stronger on Mondays

I might go back to my 25 minute route as that is all flat or down hill on Wednesday?? Then i might be able to run a bit faster/further??

Or I might challenge myself an go back to the one I did today and try to do the slight hill a bit faster?? I’ll see how my legs feel come Wednesday 🙏💪🏻

I really want to do 5k in 30mins but uphill will not be conducive to that 😂😂😂

What run are you on??

The feelgood factor after completing one of the runs is such a buzz!.. its like a drug to me!...

if you click on my profile you will see my post for yesterday ... i did Week 6 R1 and wow what a difference from the heady heights of Week 5 run 3.... I felt like a beginner again!... its so true what everyone on here says about week 6..... I try to save my 2 rest days until i feel i need to ... my legs feel so achy after yesterday ... today is my rest day but if i still feel achy tomorrow then i might put in an extra rest day and go Wednesday for run 2 and then Friday for run 3

So brave of you doing hills... I'm not doing hills for now as I'm just happy to make it through ......

5k in 30 mins will be fab!... go for it!.. You will do it!

Week 6 is s a tricky one, it catches everyone out. You are on such a high after wk5r3 then it’s like what’s going on???

I had to take a 2 day rest in wk6 between 1-2 and it really helped- just have to listen to your body.

When I say a hill it was a slight incline not a hill at all 😂 but it was enough to put the fear in me. I won’t fear it again though- I’m still feeling the high now, so going to keep this feeling in my head on Wednesday when I do run2

Good luck for your next run - you got this 💪🏻
