At Wk 6 I struggled so to now start Wk8 I am really pleased and am really noticing the benefits. It's given me much more stamina and I can do other exercise or just general things with much more ease. I could never have run for 28mins without Laura in my ear. I've only run on the treadmill once as I prefer outdoor running, I do take more care as it is quite an impact on my knees though they actually feel better than when I first started. I'm so glad I started this programme although I'm not sure if I'm hooked yet but I am enjoying it.

Well done! Keep going! Nice and steady, slow but sure is fab!
You do get niggles initially as your body adjusts to new exertions. If you take things nice and slowly you should do ok.
Running outdoors, especially on the trail, eats up the distances so much quicker than a dreadmill. The time will pass in a flash!
If you keep running your body will get stronger. It takes time though so keep plugging away. You will feel better and hopefully will lose weight and/or tone up. It makes you feel like you want to build on the healthier new you, so you start looking to make healthier choices with your eats and drinks, and maybe even starting to do other exercise as well to complement your running
Have fun! That's the important bit.
Thanks for your reply. I have noticed I am toning up and I think its helped towards my weight loss as well, I've lost 5lb in 7weeks so just nice and steady. I do other exercise as well and this is where I've noticed that I'm not struggling so much and my stamina has improved. Be nice to have a Graduate badge when I get there!
Thanks for your encouragement
Love your username!☺
The more of these longer runs you do, you will start to see your body toning up (hopefully😊)
Well done to reaching Week 8..keep going now..graduation in sight.
Well done. It's become another good habit with me now. It's possible you can get hooked but important to take it steady and like me can sense you like a bit of a challenge. I try to vary my routes do some inclines. Also cycle to work about 4K and occasionally run to work to help fit in 3 runs.
When time comes let us all know how you celebrate your graduation and what cunning plan you have after to help keep you going.
