I’ve just had the worst run in the program.

The first 10 were ok but noticed I didn’t recover too well in the walk. The first 5 mins of second 10 were hard, my breathing was heavy and I noticed my asthma, reduced the run to slow but still had a rasp so walked last 4 mins. I took ages to recover my heart rate And breath normally.. I do get asthma in the spring with tree pollen so looks like the inhaler will be out on my next run.

Legs also heavy today so all in all, rubbish 🙄

Think I’ll repeat this run!

No run can be rubbish Rubinstar, you have done very well on getting to week 6, some say run 1 of week 1 is the worst of the program, others think that run 3 of week 5 is the worst but once they have ran it and you have they are very proud of themselves. Just take all the remaining runs perhaps a little slower than you have up to now.

Good job getting out there again. Those walks don’t really allow us to recover fully, and you were having a tough one... you came so close to completing that run though, I’m sure you’ll get it next time... I’d certainly repeat, maybe back off the pace a little more in that first interval too.

I’ll definitely back off the pace when I repeat. Onwards and upwards 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️💪

Don't worry, we all have rubbish runs sometimes, and having asthma must make it so much harder.

The good news is that a bad run is usually followed by a much better one (strange but true).

Good luck next time!

I’d recommend something called Otrivine it’s a nasal spray you can get over the counter clears the airways.
