Really fed up that I couldn’t complete my run today. My asthma has been bad. I ran for 10 mins stopped then ran further 5 mins and had to finish. My chest killed. ☹️

Don’t be disappointed- be proud that you’ve completed 25 runs and can now run 28 times longer than you could on run one!!! Listen to your body, slow off till you feel better and then go again - most of us have some health thing at some point during this journey!!!

Agree Dl!! Why disappointed bt?Could you run for 10 minutes before you started C25K? Be kind to yourself. It’s cold & damp outside (at least where l am) & you have the added complication of asthma & you’ve already said your “asthma been bad”. Rest well before you try again. Be proud of what your achieving. Your doing fab👍🏻

Hey! I've got asthma as well and the only thing I can advise is to listen to your body. You should know the difference between feeling tired and suffering from a bad chest. I found with my Asthma, it's the mental strength that can get you through a tough run. Take it easy and good luck!

Yes that’s true. When I used to run or cardio exercise I had a specific inhaler to help out. I’ve got an appt next week to check this out. Mental strength usually does get me through too. Thinking about it, cold weather, always used to get to me too. So thanks everyone for your messages it really helps, I guess I’m going to have to be patient and get over this bout.
