Yesterday I did the full 20 minute run πŸΎπŸ€©πŸƒβ€β™€οΈπŸƒβ€β™€οΈ

I did find the last 2 minutes fairly horrid, I was too hot and felt i had slowed right down.

So next time, I’ll have less clothes on and try and moderate my pace if I need too without feeling ive let myself down if I do so.

I’m looking forward to week6 πŸ’ͺπŸ’ͺ

Congratulations Rubinstar on completing run 3 of week 5, that is a milestone run with C25K. Onwards and upwards to week 6 run 1 but be careful about that run as it catches out some people with the interval walks 🚢 and runs πŸƒ

Always listen to the weather forecast on the days that you are going to run, if it's warm you don't need to wear any more than running shorts and a runners sleeveless vest. They say that apart from warm weather you should wear for your runs as if the temperature is about 4C warmer.

Hey me too!

I struggled round about the 12 minute mark and started to slow down and I had the same issue, I wore a hoodie and struggled with the heat, I think it didn't help I've been running in the same clothes be it - 1Β° or 10Β°

Im looking forward to week 6 too, defo going to shed a layer of clothing off.

Congratulations ! Such a great achievement ! I’m doing my Wk5R3 tomorrow and I overheat too but finishing is the goal and not collapsing πŸ˜‚

Good luck for Wk6 πŸ‘Š

Good luck! I normally run at night in the week for two runs so it’s colder then, you forget the daylight brings some extra warmth! Definitely keep going, you can do it... rooting for ya πŸ’ͺ

Thanks so much, such a lovely community on here all rooting for each other. I normally run at 7am (as it’s cooler/less people about to witness Larry the Lobster face) 😳
