He shoots, he scores, back of the net ๐Ÿ™‚! Nor much else to say really apart from 4.1km furthest yet ๐Ÿ‘

Love your football metaphors Cfc55, well done on running 4.1km today with the completion of run 2 of week 4. Your next goal will be to score and complete hopefully not in extra time run 3 of week 4.

Not quite sure how you are running 4.1 K in Week 4???

Most folk don't manage 5K in Week 9 ...Just curious?

Week 4. For your 3 runs in week 4, you will begin with a brisk 5-minute walk, then 3 minutes of running, 1-and-a-half minutes of walking, 5 minutes of running, 2-and-a-half minutes of walking, 3 minutes of running, 1-and-a-half minutes of walking and 5 minutes of running.

Plus the 5 minute warmdown walk, well according to Runkeeper thatโ€™s what it said ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™‚๏ธDonโ€™t know how accurate it measures.

I looked back at my 4:2 and I did 3.2km running with an average pace of 11'29"km so I imagine it could be possible with a faster pace. I run at snails pace and apparently walk it too ๐Ÿ˜‚

Congrats for your run - sounds like you are going great guns. :) Don't be too tempted to push for speed yet - the increase in running time will be enough for your body to cope with. I very nearly ended up with an injury this week (end of week 6) due to pushing too hard.

Iโ€™m conscious of going too hard, had to take 2 weeks off after week 2 with dodgy knees! I donโ€™t feel Iโ€™m going too fast when Iโ€™m running, breathing is ok etc. Iโ€™ve even tried to shorten my stride a bit, bit Iโ€™m 6ft5 so my legs will only shorten so much ๐Ÿ˜‚

Donโ€™t want to see you with really short legs then. ๐Ÿ˜ฑ Guess the height difference helps explain why your W4 distance is about the same as my W7! ๐Ÿ˜Š

๐Ÿ˜‚ well would look a bit odd with long body and short wee legs right enuff ๐Ÿ˜‚! Yes the stride length is kinda what Iโ€™m thinking too, as I really canโ€™t go too fast with my dodgy knees ๐Ÿ˜‚

I envy your long legs! Mine feel much shorter than they probably are. All the very best with progressing through the plan - you will be amazed at how much better you feel. It might even help your knee pain. :)
