Week 4 run 2

Whew! I got back out for a run today and, remembering how destroyed I was at the end of the run last time, I reduced my pace slightly. This time I ran 1.74km instead of 1.8km (snailing along at 9.11/km). However, I felt less like I was going to fall over by the end of the run and was able to finish the full program (though my legs are very sore). I'll take that for now. I'm unsure if I will be ready for a full 20 minute run next week, but it's ok if I take longer as long as I take it on. 😊

Well done! I can say I feel like I'm running at a snail pace as well but just keep plotting along and you will get there :) I have my 20 minute run coming up this week, very excited!

Well done. I have week 4 run 1 tonight and am relieved that the weather is cooler than it was yesterday. After reading your experience I'm going to slow right down to test it out.

I did my W4R2 this morning and have the same doubts about next week. Laura has got us this far so I'm gonna trust her and try.

I should probably do the same.

Yay! Well done you, another box ticked. Huzzah! Don't worry about week five's run, just take one day at a time. I bet you're going to surprise yourself ;)

It could be. We'll have to see if the cold catches me first. Blah! I hate colds.

Week 4 run 2 at 9.11 minutes per k is very good in my books. You will fly soon. Go on, you are good.

Thank you! That's nice to hear. It's a bit daunting when a runner flies by you on a steep hill - and HE'S the one running uphill. πŸ˜‰
