Not posted my progress up until now. The last section of today’s run was very hard. Looking for advice if anyone has re done week 4 again to gain stamina or continued on? I was almost back to walking pace but still jogging toward the end.

Week 4 run 2
You managed it though so don’t give up on the week yet, you have another run to go and you may find you manage it ok. Just take it slowly right from the get go 👍😁
Welcome and well done. Personally, I wouldn't repeat a week or run, unless I'd actually failed to complete the last one. However, it's your journey, and if you want to, go ahead. It can't do any harm.
Definitely carry on to the next run! Well done and good luck.
Totally agree with carrying on👍 If you ever fail to complete a run, then yes re do it, but you did it 👍
Take each run slowly, you can speed up at the end if you want to. Completing the run is the important thing here, miles in the legs builds stamina. Good luck 🍀🌶
Welcome to the forum and well done on your progress.
This guide to the plan is essential reading healthunlocked.com/couchto5...
it doesn't matter if your jogging pace is slower than your brisk walk......it all builds stamina.
Enjoy your journey.
Do what feels best for you. In the earlier weeks I repeated whole weeks, because it made me feel more confident and stronger (I was very unfit and struggling a bit, even though I completed every run). From week 7 I just kept to the plan( snail pace) ...... . It's your plan and your journey, we are all different and get there in different ways. You WILL get there!!👍😁🐌
So far I’ve always found the middle run the hardest, try the next one and see how you feel - what keeps me going is if they were supposed to be easy I guess there would only be one run before going up to the next jump! Keep going 👍
Ah that middle run of each week i always found hard work, my theory is our legs were tired from the first run of a new week because it’s a bit longer than the week before, also because the first run went well i think we set off a bit fast because we knew we could run the extra minutes, it was the middle run of each week that made me wonder why we were doing this
Then on the next run we remembered the struggle so set off really slowly and made it to the end with big grins on our faces, and by about week 8 we realised that our real slow was as fast as our original fast that had Willow bent double gasping for breath and me sounding like a steam engine wheezing and panting to the end of each minute
Good luck with your next run and let us know how it goes
Ran it this morning after all your great feedback and it was probably my best run yet! Crazy how it can change!
