Wk3R1 in the bag. Pinching myself.

Started week 3 this evening. First time in very long time/if ever I’ve run for 3 minutes. Won’t say it was easy, coughed a bit, groaned a bit, swore a lot but pushed through. Keeping with the programme. Delighted that my teenage son is starting his running journey with me. I feel like a different person can’t quite believe it. Any tips on pre and post stretched would be welcome.

I was having pain in my legs as the runs got longer but then someone advised me to do stretches after every run and running has been more comfortable since I started doing this. Well done and keep at it. :-)

Well done. Don't stretch before a run but do lunges, high kicks, leg swings, etc and stretch afterwards when your muscles are warm. Also consider a longer warm up when the weather's cold, say 10 minutes.
