Well that’s w3 done and dusted! Tomorrow is a biggy! Just had a peek at w4 omg! 5 min runs!!!!! Wish I hadn’t looked. It’s getting serious! 5 mins🥴. I’m trying to be positive but that little gnome sitting on my shoulder is laughing out loud at me.

Starts tough but you’ll build into it.

Just another week of runs...no more difficult than any other week. You just keep it steady and slow, and trust the plan. Runs are not easy or hard... they are just different.. they have to be, to move us forward... but, you get stronger with each and every run, You will be just fine :)

Maybe don't look ahead,, just take each run as it comes... some runs and some weeks have got a reputation they don't deserve... mainly because of scary posts historically. The programme is carefully structured and you will be successful :) Well done you!

Best not to look ahead!

It's true. You will become stronger with each run. Just remain positive....

You really can do this and you are doing it. Keep your eyes on the road ahead not the plan ahead and all will be well... We can promise because we have done it and we felt like you too! Good luck with your running.

BTW - The way to deal with the laughing gnome is to laugh back louder and harder 😉 x

I felt exactly the same but finished week 4 this morning! I actually loved the longer runs and had some great music to listen to! You’ll be fine and if you need to, slow it right down x

Thanks! The one thing I haven’t got right yet is what to listen to. I’ve tried Radio 2 🥴. Radio 4. Tried podcasts but so far all hugely depressing! Dabbled with an audio book but to be fair it was a freebie and rubbish. Any suggestions? BTW I’m a 66 year old lady so heavy metal doesn’t do it for me

Try Olly Murs! Most of his songs make me smile as I run along! I too tried podcasts and the radio but didn’t like those either x

You will love it! And achieve it! And wonder why you worried. It feels like you’re doing this thing properly! It’s serious! You ARE a runner! The time flies past and you will feel amazing !! 😁😁😁😁😁
