Daughter had to work a late shift last night, so the plan was I minded the grandsprocket this morning and would do my run after he’d gone home.
But he’s 2 years old and likes to run, so our dog walk turned into puddle splashing, Fartlek session, by the river, with both of us in our wellies and big coats. I let him set the pace, only actually stopping for oncoming cyclists and other dog walkers. I got seriously warm and it was definitely a workout - though wellies are definitely NOT recommended running gear.

Running wellies... wonder if anyone’s making them? You could make a fortune as everyone likes jumping up and down in muddy puddles... or so I heard on the TV 😂
Sounds like a fun workout! Who knows what fun the next one will bring.
Hahahah! Funny you should say that daughter and I needed new wellies and thought we’d treat ourselves to some posh Hunter ones. Both pairs are having to go back as hers are far too narrow and I can’t get mine off on my own. They were an excellent shade of orange too!
Wore my sealskinz last week in the tiny bit of snow we had and came home with dry feet.
Wore them Monday morning in the rain and the mud and pretty much had soaking wet feet, which is why I don’t normally bother.
I actually don’t mind my feet being wet as long as they are still warm, so I tend to stick to merinos. And I always have at least one pair of dry socks with me even if I’m wearing wellies 😂
