Feeling pretty damn pleased with myself! Can’t quite believe I’ve reached the end of week 1 n against all expectations I’ve really enjoyed myself! 😁
Went a different route today as my usual route would have been too muddy. Today’s route had a couple of small slopes but thankfully they didn’t bother me any.
What was particularly pleasing was to find I’d gone further today. Ok so it was only 0.06 of a mile further, but further is further lol. And my pace has increased slightly too! And as an added bonus my knees no longer ache going up the stairs.
So all in all, I’m counting W1 as a resounding success 😁😁😁

I’m completely addicted already lol. I’m ending each one already champing at the bit for the next one, would’ve done today’s yesterday but for the dicey conditions. Roll on Friday n the start of W2!
Shins have settled down now I've had a few days rest and changed my route to avoid the steep hills. Thanks.
I've just started week 2. The 90s run isn't too much harder, especially with the longer recovery walk after each run section. If anything, I've found the 2 mins too long. That said, by the time she says "and that's it, your done" my legs have finished so maybe these experts who put it together know what they're doing after all!🤣
Great job... glad to hear you’re enjoying yourself, that will certainly help on the journey.
That 0.06 of a mile is very important... if you can find another that’s even better... my first attempt at 5k I set my tracker for 3 miles and was so pleased with myself at the end... then as I was sat smug with my legs up a tree I noticed I didn’t have a 5k PB... a couple of 0.06’s and I would have 😂
Nope... had a slow run and then dialled up 3.11 miles next time out. However, I deliberately repeated the 3 on my comeback from injury... a homage to my inner dumbass!
