Done my 1st run today, was meant to start yesterday but had to take pooch to the vets.
It went well, but really hard work, had a really bad headache since, maybe the cold air? Next run on Thurs, I think I'm looking forward to it... 🤔🤔🤔

Well done on starting C25K with run 1 of week 1, perhaps not the best weather to begin with, the weather forecast is for cold winds and snow for Thursday, if you can avoid that, good for you, if not postphone your run until the weather improves. 😊
Great job. Slow down and it’s easier, this is about building fitness not running flat out. You can do this... enjoy Thursday
I'm only two runs ahead of you so know exactly what you mean. I made the mistake that my first run was up one of the steepest hills in my area. I've since changed my route to something flatter and I am pleased to say it does get easier.
Well done for getting started, especially with the cold weather. Hope you shake the headache ready for your next run.
Good luck.
The headache could be from dehydration. Make sure you drink plenty, even on rest days. I was worried about headache as I’m prone to dehydration if I’m not conscious about my fluid intake but I drank a glass of water just before I left, as well as plenty through the day before I ran n I’ve been fine so far. Hope that helps n good luck!
Welcome ! Take it slow and steady, and if the cold bothers you, wear a hat at first and take it off once you warm up - a beanie is ideal because you can shove it in a pocket. Enjoy your journey x
