The icy weather last week meant my consolidation runs were restricted to the treadmill, (no gritters in our village, and a balance problem). so I tried a couple of the preset runs with inclines up to 6%. Did my 2nd park run expecting it to be easier, but it wasn't! on the up side I did Knock 1min 18secs off my first run so slight improvement! Then did 5k walk yesterday in that icy cold wind with my partner and stepdaughter, at a reasonable pace, so having an extra rest day today and see what tomorrow brings🤗

1:18 off a parkrun PB is slight improvement? Wow, you set high standards! That’s a big chunk of time to set a new PB... well done.
Thank you, UNM, to be fair my first park run was 41.34 and after my gradient treadmill runs at up to 5.6 mph (not a constant speed, treadmill presets, only 2 mins at a time) I thought I might have done better, but perhaps I'm expecting too much too soon.
