Congratulations Karen376! Park run is my ultimate aim though I'm a way off that at the mo. Like the idea of the challenge, the feel of a race, it's bound to boost your pace! πŸƒβ€β™€οΈπŸƒβ€β™€οΈπŸƒβ€β™€οΈ

Well done and a great time, in more ways than one.

If parkrun is representative of the population at large then you are faster than at least 12m people in the UK. In any case its not about the time but whether you came across the line smiling.

My latest time was slow but I had a great time, high fiving the volunteers, chatting to fellow runners, encouraging those finding it tough and cheering on some of the late finishers. Even managed a coffee with one of my children before he disappeared off home 180 miles away. All done by 10am and most of the weekend still to come. Only downside is the photographic evidence! I'm not the most photogenic.

Hi there isn't a warm up at my park run I suppose you could go early and do your own 5 minute walk to warm up 😊
