2nd park run w6r2

That was tough. So two 10 min runs with a 3 minute break seemed so much tougher than the 20 min run in w5. Good news is I completed the run and then as last wk went back to w1 interval runs to finish the park run. Came in 427th and I can't wait to see my time. I think I was quicker than last week.

Well done. I’m only in week 2 of the program but hope to be able to work up to a Park Run eventually.

You will!! Just make sure you follow the programme and that you get at least a day's rest in between each run. I was tempted in to doing a run on a following day and paid for it. My first park run was w5r2 and as today once I completed the 30 mins I did w1 interval runs but lots of people walk it

Wow that’s a big park run you go to! Well done on getting out there and I start W6 tomorrow 🙈 not far behind. A lot of people have said they don’t like W6 after the W5R3 high!

I actually didn't mind w6r1 but I have to say towards the end of the 2nd 10min run today (w6r2) I was praying for MJ to say just a minute to go. Although he did make me laugh at the beginning of 2nd run when he said to take it easy, but if I felt I could go faster, to, "go for it" or words to that effect.

I think that's the mistake we all make with Week 6, Run 1 - seeing the three minutes walk as a break. It isn't, it's part of the overall workout. So it's longer than the overall workout in Week 5, Run 3 which was 'only' 20 minutes long. If that makes sense!
