Almost there

Just started week 9 today. I am having my gallbladder removed on Saturday and I really want to graduate this week as I know I won't be fit to run for a few weeks after the op. Usually run in the forest but today ran on the treadmill which was a little easier but missed the trees the waterfalls the river and the lovely birdsong that usually accompanies my run. Can't wait to finish :)

Thanks for that. Well I'm hoping it will be keyhole as planned as it should only take 2 weeks to recover hopefully

Great job on this plan... welcome to the forum. 2 runs left so you can do this before your op... and you won’t lose fitness in the first two weeks after... if you’re out a month it still won’t be significant. Enjoy those runs and I wish you a speedy recovery from the surgery.

Will hopefully get to do the runs outside and at least I have the treadmill to fall back on. At least I should be fit for the op as I have lost just over a stone since started running the park run. Started C25K to try and improve my running and my time and can nearly run it all

You’ll run it all soon... no doubt about it.

Well done on getting this far you have completed 25/27 runs. Amazing. Good luck for the Op.

You’ve done really well and you’ll be a lot fitter for your op, I wish you well.

I'm a lot fitter already and have lost over a stone without cutting down on anything really. Haven't run in about 13 years and then it was only chasing my son about on holiday to put on sun tan cream. Hopefully I'll have Graduate after my name soon
