Well the weather couldn’t have been worse snow and wind in my face. It was week 5 run 3. Not quite complete but ran for 16 mins which is double my last run. I know I’ll do it next time. Monday night here I come. I’ll post a smiley face once it’s complete. Thanks to everyone for the support and comments on my last post. 🏃♀️
Almost there! : Well the weather couldn’t have... - Couch to 5K
Almost there!
Well done.
You need to do yourself a favour and realise that on W5R2 you actually ran for 16 minutes, not 8 and that the total workout was 21 minutes......a whole minute longer than W5R3.
Just believe for the next one and it is yours for the taking.
Make sure that you stand in front of a mirror and twist your face into the greatest contortions you can manage, for at least five minutes before the run. This prepares you for the fixed grin you will be wearing for the next week.
As IannodaTruffe says... believe it.... know it... and you will be there...well done
Well done! Every run counts. The weather was horrible this morning.
Well done! 16 minutes is a great practice run😁😁😁😁😁😁
I already have your smiley faces
Just getting out there today makes you a winner 🙌❄️🏃♀️
Keep going! Honestly you will do it - in some magical way this programme manages to take you to the next level each time and your body does respond. Many of us had our doubts and that’s natural when we are novices. In my case ( just had my 65th) I hadn’t run since school 50 years ago, but I did it and I’m by no means unique, there are tons of us! Good luck and keep smiling.
