Almost There!!!

Week 9 runs 1 and 2 completed. Both around a local playing field perimeter path. I was thinking of two options for my final( graduation) run, the local parkrun or at the gym on the treadmill which has a 5k run program on it. Unfortunately couldn't make the 9am parkrun start this morning due to family reasons. As all my other runs have been outdoors is it OK to do my final run at the gym? what do others think?

Running is running and it doesn't really matter where you do it. But why wouldn't you do the last run where you always run?

Well done btw!

I would set up the conditions for your grad run to be as memorable as possible. Dreadmill would not do it for me, but we are all different. I made the mistake of running on a Friday evening after a hard working week, rather being patient and waiting for the Saturday morning........my grad run was memorable for all the wrong reasons.

Congratulations on getting to this point, fellow runner.

Of course you can do the final run at the gym, but would be much better to do it at Parkrun, unless you have made some friends at the gym. I did mine at Bushy Parkrun and got good motivation and congratulations, even a graduates metal pin badge & a well-done card. So, If you want you can email your local Parkrun and tell them about your quest, and they will probably give you a mention at the briefing before next week's run... good luck..😊
