Did wk9.2 today at a very wet and slippery Swansea bay parkrun. I've been running in the week with the Wife as she has just completely smashed wk1. It's been great to see her achieve this in what's been a stressful week. Our daughter in law gave birth to our 1st grandson on Monday night and none of us have had a proper sleep since as they have both been in the high dependency ward. Thankfully both are much improved now. I know I can run for 30 mins ok so I was content to just do the parkrun this morning in whatever time it took and just go home. As it turned out I did it in 26.12. Pleased with that considering. So 1 more run now till I graduate.ππ
Almost there: Did wk9.2 today at a very wet and... - Couch to 5K
Almost there
Well done!! Congratulations on your grandchild and glad to hear both are doing well π₯³
Congratulations on the birth of your grandson and becoming a grampa, that is a great time of 26.12, a sub 30 minute 5k is always a good thing to achieve. π π
Thanks. Already have a granddaughter but it's our first grandson. I was pleased with 26.12 cos I didn't feel I was pushing at all. Can't wait to graduate now which will be at parkrun next Saturday
You will be among the 10% of people who can run a sub 30 minute 5k at the end of the 9 weeks of C25K, it is a dream for most to achieve that, you might under favourable conditions even get a sub 25 minute 5K time for your graduation π run π.
Congratulations on your new addition πΆ. Such a wonderful way to start 2019 and so glad they are both doing well now. Must have been a worrying week for you. Park run time was a smasher too and It doesnβt surprise me it was raining there. Swansea is my favourite place too having grown up there. I am down visiting family soon so bringing my trainers for a run along the front. Canβt wait. π
