For the first time ever I graduated something! Did run 3 of week 9 today and it felt great. I even ran an extra 2 mins to get the 5k in. Feeling happy, motivated and proud. Do I move on to a park run now, little apprehensive as always ran at the gym - advice would be appreciated. Thanks

Yes you can run a parkrun any time you wish to.

Congratulations on completing C25K with week 9 run 3 and graduating. 🎓

To get your graduation badge and the word GRADUATE 🎓 next to your username leave a message on the January graduate post in the pinned posts on the right side of the healthunlocked C25K home page and tell the administrators that you have ran W9R3 of C25K 🎓 🏃 😊

If you have enjoyed it so far, just wait til you get outdoors.

Keep running, keep smiling.

Congratulations on you achievement. It feels good doesn’t it?

Running outside is amazing. So different from running on a treadmill. It really is invigorating.

To keep me motivated since graduation I have planned lots of different routes in my local area. Some days I run along the beach and others in the woods. I’ve even run some of the old railway lines over here on the Isle of Wight. Whatever you do outdoors, you’ll really enjoy it. 😊

Congratulations! Now... about that self esteem... in my experience the gym is way more intimidating than parkrun... parkrun has all shapes sizes and abilities and great volunteers (I have to say that I’m celebrating six months of that right now) so get yourself down there soon and have a great time. Celebrate your achievement, and then enjoy consolidation and your next running adventure.

Thanks for the reply, and the encouraging words, I’m definitely going to do a park run in the next couple of weeks!
