Graduated! πŸŽ‰πŸ…πŸƒβ€β™‚οΈ

It’s a day I thought would never come. Whilst on the run, I thought of the first run and how I struggled to run for 60 seconds. Last week, I ran for 1 hour and 16 minutes.

Thank you for all the words of encouragement and advice. It’s time for a rest before I work out what I want to do next. I think I might put up the running shoes for Christmas and do plenty of cardio at the gym.

I’ll keep you posted.

Congratulations, and well done! I knew you'd get there (and I bet you won't be hanging up those running shoes for long). Keep us posted on what you focus on next.

Bask in the glory and then think what next.. do not rest too long, without exercise through..this is just the beginning of the habit of a lifetime:)

Thank you. I’m preparing to move houses so now is the time to rest to see if I have a stress fracture on my lower right shin or it’s just a shin splint.

I’ve to spoke a friend at the gym and he has a programme of spinning, swimming and cross trainer routines.

I’ve signed up for the Manchester 10K run which is next May. I don’t want to spend too much time away from running but I know I need to avoid any heavy impact on my legs.
