I’ve just finished my very first Parkrun. It was at Lanhydrock in Cornwall. Too exhausted to type any more.

Also did my first park run today after finishing c25k on Sunday. Well done.

I found running in a group really weird.

Ditto for weird. I found some lovely reasonable encouraging people at the back while the gazelles disappeared after the first hundred metres.

Not sure about weird, however, they do say running in or with a group as in a parkrun would make you run a little faster than running on your own.

Congratulations on completing your first parkrun, once you have recovered type us here at C25K a report on how your run and time was.

Time 48'25". Nothing to boast about but I finished!

Thats OK, I have been unable to run a Saturday morning park run as there are none near me and I have not got a car, however, the first 5K I ran on my own after I graduated which I was determined to run in less than 35 minutes was 34.21, so I am sure you will be able to run a 5K in less than 35 minutes very soon, whether it's on your own or at a parkrun. 😊 🏃 Good luck with that. 😊
