Just completed my second 25 minute run. This one felt a little easier. I followed Jo Wiley's advice and started chanting 'I like running' when I caught myself thinking the opposite. If I complete the remaining two runs in W7 I'll be amazed.

Well done, another tip is to smile while you run, it can really lift your spirits!

If it's really hard work yell out 'This is FANTASTIC'

(maybe not if there are people about) 😂

🍏Yes Jo Wiley we love running and why would we not enjoy these longer runs and complete them. Start off slowly and run easy, all your hard work up till now has prepared you for these longer runs. Enjoy them! Well done!!

Like Jo I have memories of really not enjoying running as a kid. I had asthma when I was younger, which didn't lend itself to running. Fortunately I've controlled my asthma for years now, so not so much of an issue as it once was. Physically I know I can do this, mentally I'm still doubting myself.

🍏Many of us did when we started so you are not alone. You will find new confidence with every run you do. Each time you put those trainers on and head out you are a winner. If for any reason it doesn’t go well you put it down to a practice run and do it again after a rest day. You can’t ever fail. So with that in mind enjoy your next run!
