Well, no one is more surprised than me that i have just run 20 minutes non stop! I won't say it was easy, the last 5 mins were tough, but I am super proud that I did it! Most of the worry is just in your head that you can't do it as the plan has worked you towards it beautifully!

For any of you just starting out there, believe me this plan really works. I am 52, overweight and have never run for that long before. Don't stress about the speed, let the plan take you forward, and if you have a twisted ankle or cold one week (as I did...not twisted whilst running, just turned it on a wonky pavement) then just pull back and have a few more days rest and then pick it up again. Don't panic that that will make it all fall apart, as it won't!

Looking forward to week 6! bring it on!

Congratulations 'suzuefb' on completing run 3 of week 5, that is a milestone run with C25K, ButtercupKid is due to do that run on Monday, I am sure your post will have encouraged her on. I admit before I ran run 3 of week 5, I was a bit nervous to say the least but after I completed it, well you know the feeling, super proud, once again, congratulations πŸ˜€.
