Only my second ever parkrun, and the first since I hurt my foot in July. Mr grumpy drove us to our nearest flattest parkrun, which is Aylesbury, and it was fab! It is so friendly and supportive, and if you are a parkrun volunteer, bless you! I love you all. The best way to start Christmas Day ever invented. And I ran the whole way.

Well done. My parkrun was the same. 519 runners on Christmas day, and volunteers cheering us on and everyone in good spirits. I loved it, and ran a personal best. Next is a family reunion on Saturday at the Mersea Island parkrun. Looking forward to it. Thank you to anyone who volunteers with parkrun - amazing folk.
