First park run this morning-now Iβve fallen completely in love with it as you all said I would! Lever Hume Park Bolton, warm welcome, great range of runners and walkers, fantastic experience. To be honest, Iβm surprised how emotional I feel about it. In a good way. Anyone out there wondering whether to give it a go, my answer is now YES! So one happy C25K guinea pig reporting back as promised. thanks everyone for the encouragement Iβm completely buzzing now. Happy running all ππ

Parkrun - I did it π
Congratulations on your first parkrun and so glad you enjoyed it. π€π€π€
Congratulations and very well done on your first parkrun. Glad to hear that it will be the first of many. I did my 56th parkrun this morning and my 31st parkrun this year. There was a charity Tea and Coffee morning afterwards in a local School and a load of fellow parkrunners went along. I undid all the benefits of my run by eating delicious cake π°. The best thing about parkrun is the more you do the better it gets as you meet such lovely people at parkrun.
Damien
Congratulations to you Damien on completing your 56th parkrun, I ran my 11th this morning.
You deserved to eat that delicious cake, as long as it was after the run, that's OK.
It was after the run. Gorgeous cake. Yum π. Well done to you too. Double figures. You could chase after the red 50 milestone t shirt in 2020.
That sounds lovely π and the cake well deserved! Iβm up for getting more into the social side of it too over the next few months
Yeah, yeah, yeah! π well done! And welcome to the parkrun family! Itβs just fabulous isnβt it, I know what you mean, it expects nothing of you, other than to go along and join in, with a load of other likeminded people, from all walks of life........magic.
I love it.........can you guess...π
You wait, youβll be organising your weekend around it before you know it....π

Well done Jerichomile! Onwards and onwards from here on!
Hah, I was waiting for your feedback. Glad you enjoyed it. π
I went out for a run at 8 o'clock this morning and thought, why aren't I at the parkrun. Unfortunately, looking at my calendar, I'll have to wait until after Christmas now. Life has a habit of getting in the way.
Congratulations, you deserve to be completely buzzing now that you have completed your first 5k Parkrun, Saturday mornings will never be the same again for you as you will be at parkrun most Saturdays. π ππΎ
Well done, Jerichomile - Saturday mornings will never be the same!
Ah thanks Debston. Your enthusiasm from your posts helped keep me going during the C25K. yes I sense already
Saturdays have changed forever πIβve been gushing about it all day to a ridiculous number of my (totally non running) family and friends π......now they look like this π³π³π³!!
Howβs your running these days?
Aw, that's nice to hear! Running going OK, I have a bit of stamina back and am starting Week 3 of the 10k magic plan on Monday. If I manage the 7k run, I will be very chuffed! Great that you are sharing your enthusiasm with non running friends - maybe you will inspire them to give it a go. βΊ
Well done You!!!! ππΎππ Great to hear about parkrun, Iβm definitely going to try post gradπ
Well done and how exciting ππββοΈ. Mmmmm I'm in the contemplating stage ... not quite brave enough just yet, but come the new yearπββοΈ!
