We attend our local Parkrun every week and one of my kids - who doesn't run - volunteers every Saturday. She is usually chief barcode scanner. If you needed proof that Parkrun is for everyone, here is a picture of her with someone that we only met through Parkrun but she and some friends decided to make her birthday a bit special and baked her a cake to celebrate. As you can see, she was quite pleased! We love Parkrun and Parkrunners!
We love Parkrun.: We attend our local Parkrun... - Couch to 5K
We love Parkrun.
Wow, that is kind! I love the doggie on the cake, very clever 🎂🐾
Park runners and cake what's not to love? What a lovely, lovely gesture. Of course without the volunteers we couldn't run....
Wow sounds great.... I've never heard of park run before... I'm off to google it!
Lovely story, happy faces 😀
Super pikkie! Go you all
That's lovely! My sort of parkrun 😊
Saw from one of your older posts that you checked them for hilliness 😂
Well Armagh, palace demense is very very hilly .its the only one I've done and a bit too difficult for me at this stage .
Would welcome your recommendations 🏃♀️
Thanks 😊
Ours is much flatter and only one lap - come to Citypark at Tannaghmore gardens farm - you will be very welcome!
That definitely sounds more like it ,I will maybe make that my next parkrun.
Won't be to the end of September though !
I will look out for you 🏃♀️🏃♀️
We are hard to miss - the lovely Caroline does barcode scanning every week. Do you live close to Armagh? I did a 10k leg of the Armagh marathon a couple of weeks ago.
Yea I live in milford... could walk to the Armagh park run 😂
Will def head to craigavon, sounds much more suitable just having graduated😊
I did Armagh with my youngest daughter who encouraged me round those hills ,shortly after it I had an Achilles injury and I def associate with that .so looking for an easier challenge to build up again 😁
