Hi everyone and welcome to yet another new and exciting running fortnight.
First of all I wanted to take this opportunity to say Merry Christmas and a very Happy New Year to all!
Secondly a little reminder that at busy times running is such a great stress buster, do try to pop on those running shoes and get out there if you can folksππ½ββοΈππ»π
So, time for our chatty chat........We are all so busy... life can be hectic .... and even more so for us runners!
Fear not, here is a place to take five, and enjoy a good old natter about our running adventures, trials, tribulations, successes, achievements etc.
Sometimes we don't feel like putting a whole post up, but just want to share something small, so this is a great place for doing that during the week.
If you're a lurker, this is also a great place to say a little hi, without the pressure of a full post.
So pull up a chair, slip off the running shoes, and settle down for a little chin-wag!
Wishing you all a happy, healthy, great running festive two weeks.

Since graduation in min November I've just been running for 30 minutes three times a week with an occasional longer run up to 35 minutes thrown in. I'm managing to run 5k consistently in 30 mins now which is good. Even manged to run round the deck of a cruise ship when we were away in December. Mind you the running was easy, keeping the weight loss going was more of a challenge.
Fear not, fear not, that sounds very Christmassy, nothing to fear about running, may I wish all the administrators at C25K all the compliments of the season π π π€Ά π
A sincere thank you to all the Admins (if you've never been one you have no idea what it takes to Shepard a forum as active as this one Mentors, "Old Faithfuls" and all who have made this Forum the place it is for another year
Wishing you all the peace and joy that Running and Forum friendships have brought me.π
I'm a bit disappointed as 2 of my 3 runs this week have only been for 20 mins as I'm feeling very sluggish and heavy legged. However next run I'll listen to Wk9 on repeat for extra motivation! Happy New Year and Happy Running All!
Very pleased to have finished week 6! I found the last run ok, so feeling confident about week 7. I've also joined a running club! Quite a turnaround from being a desk potato!
Thanks for the good wishes. Iβve just joined, now, this minute. Why? Not sure. Probably because I know that it will be beneficial!
If anyone has some tips about how to make the best use of this site and what groups, people to follow, that would be welcome. Iβm just starting and looking for inspiration.
Happy New Year to you. I think my virus is finally on the way out. Probably start W9 on Thursday - a week late but never mind. The journey has been worth it.
Happy New Year! Good reminder about running being a great stress buster. I've managed to keep running three times per week over the holidays, mostly 5k and usually in under 30 mins now, which I didn't think I'd ever do. Thanks for being there and keeping us all so motivated.
