Hi everyone and welcome to, yet another, new running week.

We are all so busy... life can be hectic .... and even more so for us runners!

Fear not, here is a place to take five, and enjoy a chat about our running adventures, trials, tribulations, successes, achievements etc.

Sometimes we don't feel like putting a whole post up, but just want to share something small, so this is a great place for doing that during the week.

If you're a lurker it is a great place to say a little hi, without the pressure of a full post.

So pull up a chair, slip off the running shoes, and settle down for a little natter:)

Wishing you all a happy , healthy ,running week

Trying out new runs. Using couch 5+ and just have to work out my ideal step rate. Feels like progress 😀

Such a gorgeous picture! I love it! Keeping up with my goal--adding .1 mile per week and running three times a week. I'm up to 1.6 starting this week. It's fall, and fall weather is great for running. People haven't started burning leaves yet here, so that's also great for running. Feeling good!

I started the c25k today. Didn't die on my 'run' so that's a good start. Here's to the first of many!

Well done, it’s such a brilliant program. Enjoy, happy running and when the going gets tough, just relax take a deep breath and carry on! slow and steady - that’s the mantra here 🌻 beware running is addictive!

Not quite! But close! Legs complaining today!! But done nonetheless 😊

Great work... it gets a bit easier despite the length of the runs going up... you’re doing the hardest runs right now, and they take a bit of grit to get through. Keep the legs loose on your rest days, and that fitness will start kicking in sooner than you’d think.

First week as a c25k graduate. Did my second post c25k today after a night shift. Hard work but 30 mins running none the less 😊. Lovely pic btw x

Afternoon, I'm finishing week 7 and going into week 8 this week.

I was away volunteering at the weekend so didn't have time to fit in my final week 7 run so set my alarm clock early monday morning and pulled my butt out of bed to do it then instead. (my poor body didn't know what hit it!!)

I then did my week 8 run tuesday night ( i know your suppose to leave a days rest but It would mess up my plans) and will do run 2 later today.

The fact that I ran for 28 minutes is still strange to me ....... I am no way fast or near the 5km mark but I did it. Feeling super proud of myself and with only 5 runs to go I can see the finish line.

I also did a virtual challenge in October to run 25 miles, which I managed with my c25k plan and my medal arrived this morning which made my month :D

Loving this plan and how it has made me feel again <3

Well done you.... but try please to make sure you take those rest days...the little muscles need repair time... spending time on the IC can mess up your plans too :)

Club run last night, braving the ‘trick or treaters’ who were out in their hordes, looking superb in their ghoulish make up and costumes. They were gracious enough to cheer us on too - thought that was fab. 🙂
