Week5 run 2 done

Well I made it this far, I never thought I'd be able to do 8mins at one go though I was tiring a bit towards the end of the second run. I gather that the next run is 20 whole minutes! Gulp!

I think I'll do better running to music. Can someone tell me whether I can listen to music as well as playing Jo Whitley on the c25k app on my iPhone?

Sorry, I'm not technically minded

Well done.

The next run is the shortest workout since W3. You can do it.

Yes, you can play any music alongside the app.

Keep running, keep smiling.

Well done Bright-spark , that’s a fantastic achievement! Don’t overthink this next run, yes you can play music over the app, Jo will just talk over it when it’s time....start slow, find your comfortable pace and you’ll nail it 💪🏻👏🏻

I'm at the same stage as you wk5 run3 coming up today . It seems to me that any anxiety about not being able to do a run is all in the mind, the legs will be fine. If you start to feel tired just slow it down for a while till you get your rhythm back that's my plan anyway. Just got to conquer the mind thing now. Good Luck you can do it and hopefully so can i.

Thanks, I think the challenge will be more mental, but that's why playing music will help. Hopefully it'll take my mind off what I'm doing. Good luck today!

Well i did it i'm totally amazed. It get's easier after the first 10 mins the legs and mind seem to get in a rhythm and everything just happens. So if i can do it i know you can as well good luck and you will do it honestly.

Hi Bethan, I just finished Week 5 Run 3 and i enjoyed it more than any of the other runs. Everything seems to click after 10 mins the rhythm of your legs and mind just kicks in and it feels fantastic. I'm not quick mind but it's stamina i'm building. Just be positive you will do it keep going. Good Luck with week 5.

Amazing! Well done to you. I just finished run 1, week 5 and thoroughly enjoyed. I'm finding each week easier and it's as you say, more than likely building stamina and finding a rhythm.

I ran my 20 minutes last week up on the Humber Bank. Slow and steady but awesome. Good luck

Help me too ...Did run 2 it today. Yay us! I listen to Sanjeev but overlay the couch to 5k boogie podcast. I download it at home and start it just after the couch app. I need to make a proper run playlist but that's for another day. My plan for the next one is to redo run 2 if I am struggling 🏃. Good luck
