No hail, no gale, no sleet, no snow. Just a clear blue sky and a yellow ball up in the sky. First run not cold (well it was around 2-3 degrees, which is comparatively warm).
Set off with the usual trepidation but I kept the mantra going - once I get past 5 mins it will get better! Lo and behold, I reached 8 minutes and felt like I could have kept going! Stored that away for the 'big run' on Thursday....
Anyway - was a corker of a run and I'm absolutely buzzing. Its given me a massive confidence boost to tackle the next one!!!
Roll on the 20 minutes! (Did I really say that??? π±π€π)

So good to hear that the weather was fine and that you felt elated at the end! You are ready to SMASH those 20 minutes!!!
I'm doing W5R2 tomorrow.... with my HUSBAND!
He has an "enforced" work-at-home day (?) so said he would accompany me and then continue with his longer run (he graduated 18 months ago). No pressure then, LOL!
What you have achieved so far, combined with your positive mental attitude, is a great combo and Iβm sure you will smash the next run πββοΈ πͺπ
