Well the day is upon me the dreaded run 3 I'm undecided to do it on the treadmill as will be popping in to the gym from work or to head outside and do this evening which was my plan am now dithering. Think my mind may be having a few doubts as to whether the old body is up to it.

Good luck, it's my week 5 run 3 day today too. The weather forecast here is good, so I'll head out after work today. Everyone here who had done it says it is not as hard as it sounds, so I'm feeling positive (but still nervous).

Don't doubt yourself, just do it. You will be fine, take it steady. Let us know how it goes. x

Just got back from the run, and I did it! I put myself into the mindset that I can definitely do it as long as I keep my pace to a moderate level and just let it run, and not think about the time. I held back to a pace that kept me at a constant level of feeling I'm working, but not wearing myself out. When Laura told me I had two minutes to go and if I needed to I should slow down, I realised I felt the opposite, so I picked up the pace aiming to hit the end of the run at the "I am completely knackered" level, and got to the end feeling really great.
