Just completed run 3 of week 5 and I'm feeling great! I put the run off as long as possible because it felt like such a huge jump from run 2. But much to my surprise I've managed it, albeit looking like a manic drowned rat with all my teeth on show as I smile on my cool down! And for the first time since starting the program my smart watch finally recognised that I was running! I mean I'm still going at a snail's pace but I did it! We can do this!!! (:

I’m doing it tomorrow! On W5R2 in the second 8 min run I slowed down slightly and suddenly found my inner snail. I felt more “glidy” than “plonky”! Hope he returns in time tomorrow.😊

Well done. Same for me. Did 5 week run 3 this morning. Was totally dreading it because I was frightened of failing, but I did. It’s a great feeling to have done it. Changed my route to avoid my usual evil hill and was jogging slow but I don’t mind because I did not stop once. Lovely to hear of others doing the same. Keep it up and we might graduate together. 👍
I did my W5R3 this morning and got soaked - helped keep me cool though!
From 8 mins running in R2 to 20 mins in R3 did seem daunting and I agree it is a great feeling to succeed 😁.
Well done... doing mine in the morning, kind of excited at the moment, but not sure if I will feel like that in the morning, let's hope so.
