Hi everyone, I'm doing week 5 run 3 tomorrow. Looks like this is the one everyone dreads. Feeling slightly nervous but going to give it my best shot.

It should not be dreaded.

Read this healthunlocked.com/couchto5...

Have a great run.

You can do it... your body is more than ready... keep the pace down... ease into it and grin as you finish it. Slow and steady as you go... have a wonderful run.

You’ll be just fine! The program works its magic somehow. It’s mostly a mental battle at this stage so just keep telling yourself you CAN do it :-)

Me too! I'm looking forward to the challenge.

Good luck!

I did mine Friday too, I nearly talked myself out of it as I was quite worried about it - excises being bad weather, achy legs ... but then I gave my head a wobble and went and did it, and I was sooo glad I'd done it, I didnt struggle as much as I thought I would, i started real slow and picked the pace up a little as I went along. The last 3 minutes were the real test for me i had to keep telling myself I'd done 17minutes - so what's another 3! Go out and enjoy it good luck

Hi! I dreaded it too but it was fine!! Couldn’t believe it when the app said I’d already run for 10 minutes!!! Good luck!

Week 5 was daunting I recall but I was really satisfied when I completed it. You'll do great and will wonder why you were dreading it so much.

You can do it.

Hi Loopyloo81. Please don't worry about this run. Although it appears to be a big jump , the programme has been so carefully designed that it really is an entirely manageable step.

I think this run comes with the biggest confidence boost of all. I'm absolutely sure that having come this far you will do it.

All the very best and make sure you let us know how it goes.

You are ready for this, take it slowly and you will feel ecstatic once you have done it, good luck!

I too was feeling apprehensive but I did mine w5r3 on Friday and it was fine. Like the others have said, trust the programme, it does work. Good luck

I just did it this morning! Now I feel ready for anything! We're all on tenterhooks to find out how you got on!

Just come back from doing this run. Even I was feeling apprehensive about this run but you can do it. The training prepares you for it. Remember slow and steady wins the race!!😀

Just back and I did it! I cant actually believe it. This plan really does work. I never thought in a few weeks I would be running for 20 minutes. I remember 90 seconds being a struggle at first. I feel amazing. Thank you to everyone for your support. Well done to everyone who has completed w5 r3 and to those who are preparing to do, go for it. If I can do it, anyone can. I found the last 10 minutes the easiest once I got going. This run has given me so much confidence and I know I can do this xx

I was also dreading it and just got back from completing it- had a mare with the app as although I selected this run the audio was for week 3 run 1! So my fiddling with it meant I accidentally paused it with 7 mins left and ended up running longer than 20 mins! A struggle but definitely not as bad as I thought it would be!

Hi I was dreading it but the buzz when it’s done is amazing you can do it

I was in the exact same position as you on Sunday hun but believe me you can do it!! I never thought I would be able to do it but it’s easier than you think. It’s more about your training yourself mentally that you can do it. Let me know how you get on 😊
