Week 6 in the bag, a great birthday for me.

All week I have been dreading run 3. I did week 5 two weeks ago before I got a chesty cough and had to stay away from running for a week. I probably should still be resting but I was determined to run this week as i was going crazy do g nothing.

So, today being my 46th birthday and the previous 2 runs being ok, off I trotted this morning. I had told myself it didn't matter if I went slow as long as I felt ok to carry on. The first 4 minutes seemed like forever but then I hit half way and then 20 minutes were done. The final 5 minute push coincided with an unexpected hill! I took it so slow I thought I was going backwards but..... I did it!

When Sarah Milican told me I was a runner I was so happy. I am now 3 weeks from completing and know I can do it. I've even worked out a Boxing Day run at my parents house and can't wait!
