Feels good to finish week one and am pleased but also realistic about there being 8 more weeks and how I want this to be a life change not just a tick box exercise. My long term goal is to “run” a 10K by the end of 2019 so I keep that in my head but also really appreciate each “run” I do. Not going to lie my thighs felt a bit like lead today but just kept going no matter how how slow I felt. Onwards and upwards to week 2

Hi Emma, we are at exactly the same stage, I'm doing run 3 tonight after work, it's been a hard thing to do but like you I've done it, I'd also like to make this a life change and get my terrible fitness levels up, this board is great with lots of great advice and much needed support, keep going and let me know how you're getting on, good luck.

Good for you. Well done. This programme is a life-changer for sure. Go slowly. Slower the better for this job 😃👍🏃‍♀️

Great job. Always good to have a long term goal... you’ll be picking that event soon enough too. Week one is a shock to the system and so in my opinion the hardest week. Keep the pace down as you progress and you’ll be fine.
