I’ve started week 8 this morning and can’t quite believe I enjoyed running for 28 mins. I found Week 7 tough and was a bit anxious about this morning’s run. I tried a different place to run and was amazed to see afterwards that it was my best pace yet. I felt so comfortable 😊 Maybe not having to look out for rocks and tree roots helped as this lake path was tarmac. Anyway with the warm up, run & cool down I did 4.7 km. Well chuffed!!

Well done- I dream of doing 4.7 k in 28 mins. Did week 8 run 3 yesterday and managed 4.1 km Glad everyone says distance doesn't matter. Think I might have given up otherwise! Trouble is, it matters to me.Want to do 5 k even if it takes 40 minutes
Hi RubyTiger. The 4.7km included my warm up and cool down walks so not in 28 mins. You will get to 5Km. Most people seem to manage it on consolidation. You are really not far off!
This is great to hear. Well done you. I am due to run w8 R1 tomorrow so am very glad to hear about your positive experience as I’m a little nervous. Mostly worried about my route as I will need to add a tiny bit extra on, but don’t want to be crossing too many roads and at the end of my current route, I’m faced with lots! 🤔 Might try the park instead
