Park run this morning!!

Didn't sleep much last night almost certainly due to the fact I'm doing my first park run this morning! I've checked my local results and the slowest time is 36 minutes for 5k! I'm using this as my second run in week 8 and judging by my pace on the treadmill should be ok for half hour, haven't run outside for a month though so I'm a bit nervous!!!

Bizarrely I'm running to and back from a parkrun this morning. I'm meeting a parkrunning friend to pick up a book ready for World Book Night on Monday. It'll be 2.5 k there and 2.5 k back for me.

Good luck with your parkrun. Let us know how you get on.

Still waiting for results but apparently my time was about 27:30 so it worked perfectly for the podcast! So happy with my time and I'll be back next week trying to improve on it!! The hardest thing is not knowing the route so I didnt know how far along I was! So should be easier next time c25kers get to your local parkrun!
