I can't quite believe it! That was probably my best run yet - comfortable and my best pace according to Strava 6:56/km which includes my 5min warm-up walk. I'm not aiming to push it and risk an injury to complete 5k on my *whispers* graduation run, but I actually do feel like it will be possible after a few more consolidation runs, and maybe running for a little longer.
C25k has been life-changing!

Well done. Fab pace too. I have one more to do either tomorrow or Sunday. Ate a very sticky donut at lunch and now I feel like a whale. Think I used up all my calories for the day. It was awesome though
Great job. You’re under 35 minute pace for 5k including walking... so you’re not going to be far off 5k... enjoy that graduation run and a few consolidations and it’ll be easy. The consolidation really has me feeling stronger... one more for me and then I can start to extend a run.
I’ve done 5... sixth is tomorrow and then I’ll do a 36 on Monday (5k at my usual pace) 2 30s at that pace and then feed my stats into NRC race plan and see where I get to!
That's brilliant! you're quick! Very well done SubterraneanAlien. You were featured in my week 8 post this week, as someone who introduced me to the concept of running... WITHOUT MUSIC!
I tried it... (admittedly not out of choice) and quite liked it!
You are now my hero of the week. Good luck with the graduation run I hope you have a great one 😄
That's funny! I'm so glad you're enjoying running at being at one with the world! My favourite bit is the final 5min where I really let go and leg it! You can really appreciate the wind in your face and the sun on your skin and it's wonderful!
