That one's ticked off now. I felt like it went pretty well but I'm still finding the 5 minute runs are stretching me as far as I feel I can go - let's see if I can prove myself wrong with run 2! I'm trying not to freak about the 20 minute run for run 3. I can remember when running for 60 seconds was hard work and I'm already doing more than I thought I was capable of :-)

I've just worked out that even though I'm just starting week 5, I've actually been doing this for just under 10 weeks. My concern when I started this was that I'd overdo it and trigger a fibromyalgia flare up so I promised myself that I would repeat runs if I didn't feel ready to move up and that I'd take breaks when I needed to so I always knew that I wouldn't do it in 9 weeks. As it's turned out I only repeated some of the week 1 and week 3 runs but I've had a couple of separate weeks where I've not been well enough to run at all so I've had some breaks. I'm going for surgery on 30th November so I'm aiming to get to the end of week 6 before I have to stop for a few weeks. Hopefully I won't need too long off after surgery - I'm planning to drop back to week 4 runs when I start up again.

Hi I just done wk5 r2 today it's not as bad as you think and I thought 5 minutes was my limit but I managed the two 8 minute runs really well good luck

Thanks. I'm reminding myself that I have previously thought 60 seconds, 90 seconds and 3 minutes were my absolute limit and I was wrong on those occasions!

Great work and a sensible plan so far and also for post surgery. You're going to complete this. Enjoy the next
