I can hardly believe I did it! If you'd told me after my first run in week 1 that soon I'd be running for 3 whole minutes without stopping I'd probably have laughed and said something rude. Thank you to everyone who has posted encouragement and words of wisdom about trusting the plan. I've taken it all on board and unlike week 1 (which I did 3 times!) I only did week 2 once, and approached today's W3 run with the view that if I couldn't do it all first time it didn't matter too much because there would be two more opportunities during the week to improve - but I did manage it, and I'm thrilled to bits!
I'm really looking forward to my next run at the weekend, and I never thought I'd hear myself say that!

Great run... sounds like that belief is growing. Hard work and positive thinking will take you all the way through this and to anywhere else you want to go. Keep amazing yourself.
Hey that's great, keep going. I'm at the same stage as you. So it's Friday and my plan for this evening is to do run 2 of week 3. This time last year I would have been at the pub, sinking a few pints of cider and smoking around 10 roll ups. 🤔
It went better than expected. I've been doing them at the gym for the last 2 weeks, and when I out my gym key in the reader it showed that I did better than the first run this week. I sweated a lot and my recovery rate was quicker. The hardest part was getting off the sofa, out of my onesie and into my gym gear! Hope you have a good one tomorrow. 👍
Good to hear that recovery gets quicker! I went out for my week 3 run 2 yesterday afternoon and although I'm not loving the feeling of running (or rather, shuffling!) I really am getting a buzz from making it through the podcast without feeling as if I'm going to fall down in a heap! I quite fancy going out today for a run, but it's a rest day, so I contented myself with a brisk walk to Tesco and back to buy a bottle of wine. Final run of week 3 is on Tuesday and then ... the dreaded week 4!
