Folks I'm posting this not to show off but to encourage...
One year ago today I did Week 4 Run 2 and, as in all the sessions, struggled but got through it.
One year later and I've done my first ten-mile race. And I was wearing a running club vest for the first time too. If you had suggested this time last year that I'd be doing those things I'd have laughed.
If I can do it so can you. Believe it.

Truly inspiring and motivating! What an incredible feat, thank you for sharing this with us. This kind of encouragement makes each run so much more powerful, thank you. Keep at it, you've made unbelievable progress! :0
Sounds like a fab achievement and you should be proud of it. I graduated only in October 2016 and have a few months to get to 10 miles........if my legs will carry me! Would love to be able to do the same by my runniversary.
Brilliant post Anne and huge congratulations on your 10 miler! You are so right - this running journey is a very special one. You must have felt so proud crossing the line in that vest, what a long way to come in a year (and a long way to run!). Which 10 miler was it and have you done a write up of the day? Would love to read it.☺
