Week 2 completed after a mid-week pause

Completed week 2 this evening after having to pause with knee pain mid-way through the week. I changed my trainers to a pair lurking in the back of the cupboard which are much more suited to running and added gel heel cushions, and it was really comfy. Breathing was largely good but the colder air takes its toll a bit. Still icing my knee a lot: will see how it copes with week 3 from Sunday. Happy running, all ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿƒโ€โ™‚๏ธ๐Ÿƒโ€โ™€๏ธ

Good job. The knee will get stronger in time, and more comfortable will help that along.

Random trainers are not running shoes.

If you already have issues it really would make sense to invest in some proper running shoes fitted after a gait analysis done at a specialist running shop.

I know, itโ€™s on the list. The ones I changed to today are at least built for running. Thank you ๐Ÿ˜Š
